Web Proxy

Provides remote access to local Web Server, allows executing PHP/Perl/Python/etc scripts.

Web Proxy provides fully-functional remote access to local Web Server, allows executing PHP/Perl/Python/etc scripts. Now it also accelerates static content delivery.
Useful for developers who demonstrate clients uncompleted web-projects.
Supports: GET/POST methods, AJAX calls, Cookie authorization, redirections and other.
Requires: local Web Server like Apache/nginx/etc.

Web Proxy обеспечивает полнофункциональный удаленный доступ к локальному веб-серверу, позволяя исполнять скрипты PHP/Perl/Python и т.д. Теперь с ускорением загрузки статического контента.
Удобно использовать разработчикам для демонстрации клиентам незавершенных веб-проектов.

Is wery good but have some problem. I found it and i waiting for fix it.
There aren't any problem witch aliasing my own domain to the Web Prox. The problem witch image is waiting for response from team.
WERY GOOD WHO IS IN THE LOCAL NETWORK AND WANT TO HAVE OWN DOMAIN AND SERWER !!! (BECAUSE THIS IS THE PROXY AND NO NEED IP :smile:)
This is it. And working witch PHP...

Hi Everyone,
This is great free application of Opera Unite BUT I have some issue need to list below:
1. Only work after setup "Web Proxy", want it work again you must to remove and setup again.
2. Do not show image files such as *.gif, *.jpg, *.png, etc.
3. It will good better if It work multiple site on Window Server 2003, use site header
4. It will wonderful better if we can Alias (CNAME domain) my domain to Opera Unite Web Proxy. Ex: use www.myname.com ==> instead of home.myname.operaunite.com/localhost/
I hope the Developer team Opera Unite will have that things soon. Thanks for great free application :smile:

the web proxy app was working great until I updated opera to 10.6, now it as become unreliable and stops working. I have to reinstall the app to make it work again?

after deleting WEB PROXY, downloading and configurating once again it seems to work

... LINUX mint

Great app, but it seems to have stopped working since I installed Opera 10.60: "An error occured. See error log for details" (I don't know where the error log is though). :frown:

I tried to get ICECAST & SHOUTCAST running.
Icecast Status page works outside, but no stream.

Does this Proxy doesn't work with Streaming?

I have a few problems: my images aren't loading, and my root folder gives a 404 error when i have an index.html but a (not loading) picture when i use index.php. When i acces the site using http://localhost, i do get to see everything (url with opera is http://home.idamnyankee.operaunite.com/localhost/)
my subdirs have the same problem->php/html works great (rivettracker up&running) but still no pictures.
have i done something wrong?
EDIT: have been playing with the preferences: now half my images load, but the other half remains blank/alternative text... even within one page (with all the pics in 1 directory so absolutely the same) some load while other remain blank.

This application is really good and usefull but there's a big imperfection. I can't use linked stuff in my pages like stylesheet or some images. I hope you'll fix it.

It would be great if you could specify additional folders outside of the local root folder that Web Proxy has access to.

My specific usages scenario is an implementation of the glFusion CMS on an Apache web server. Some scripts are stored outside of the site root folder for security reasons. While the site runs fine locally, Web Proxy cannot use the scripts that exist outside of the site root.

Another problem is that Web Proxy can only work with one web service. On my server I have multiple web services running (Apache, Subsonic, HFS) on different ports (80, 82, 83). While I can configure Web Proxy to run any one of these services, I cannot run multiple services inside of one Web Proxy instance. I could start up multiple Web Proxy instances, theoretically, but then I would be unable to transparently link between these services while running in the proxy.

This app has huge potential (for using Opera Unite to get around my school's firewall). Please continue development of it!!!
