I am also have the exact same problem with no services except fridge running. WTF?

I am having the same issue as carlovercillo. None of the Unite features work exept Fridge. Each of them worked once when I opened them for the first time, but after that I haven't been able to access them at all (including from the side panel); it comes up with a blank page. Sometimes it alternates between that and an error message saying "The device you were trying to access (celestialwolf.celestialwerewolf.operaunite.com) does not seem to be available."

like carlovercillo, I am getting frustrated and am ready to just forget about this whole thing despite how much I want for this to work!

I am currently running this on Vista; haven't tested with Ubuntu yet. I don't think it's a firewall issue... Any ideas?

I should further clarify... of thee services I have installed (Files, Fridge, Music, Photo Sharing, Homepage) after a certain amount of time it seems that only Fridge is available. This applies not only to external browers and computers, but from within the Opera Unite editing/admin mode (not sure what that's called). Restarting the browser or service does NOT generally correct the problem!

I keep getting a reoccurring problem whereby I can only access the Fridge- The other services seem to be unresponsive and do not load! I'll either get a blank page or an error. Incredibly frustrating to the point where I no longer am interested in exploring this!

Also I would LOVE to be able to use this for web streaming radio, that would be SO COOL

Please add 'internet radio style' streaming . Bring a way to listen the same music at the same time between friends without setting up complicated icecast servers !

sonburn Until we implement remote administration, the Private mode only works locally. I know. For now, set your content to Limited/Restricted access and keep the password for yourself.

Media Player service isn't working for me. I have it enabled and running on my home computer but if I try and access it from an outside computer all I receive is a blank white screen, I can't see any of my music files.

I think folders should appear at the top in alphabetical order, and the files after them (separated from folders) also ordered alphabetically.
A playlist would be nice too

Anyway, I think this service I'll use very often!

Media Player has the great potential, but need some fixes. For example:

- If I open folder named on cyrillic, I can't see files on it.
- I can't download files from folders. Only from root folder.

I'm use Debian Lenny. And sorry for my bad english

also caching of already listened tracks would be nice.

I installed Opera Unite on my home machine, and enabled the Media Player service, and set the sharing to Private. I am now at work, on my laptop that has Opera Unite installed as well, and I guess I am wondering where I am supposed to see my home music library? Nowhere do I see my home machine's name... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for Opera 10 and Unite. I use MSN and LIVE, but this seem to be an all-in-one-no-nonsens-easy-to-use package, and I love it.
In time I hope for support of more musicformats. I have most of my music as .wma, is it possible to make those available in media player?
