Stream media online from your own computer with Opera Unite! Audio, video and etc.

Make your own media tube with Opera Unite! Stream video and audio to your friends right in browser. They don't need to download files, just watch them online.

Press "Play" to stream online or press on file name to download it!
Supported formats: flv, mp3, swf, aif, aiff, aac, au, bmp, gsm, mov, mid, midi, mpg, mpeg, mp4, m4a, psd, qt, qtif, qif, qti, snd, tif, tiff, wav, 3g2, 3gp, ra, ram, rm, rpm, rv, smi, smil, asx, asf, avi, wma, wmv

Known issues:some formats (e.g. AVI) in some players (e.g. Windows Player) will not be played until they downloaded fully.

- Ability to set own password

is this a Stream media only? i wish there was a LIVE Streaming for this... if there is... could you teach me how? thnks... and by the way... THIS IS AWESOME!!!

Hey the programm is really good but on my mac i cant watch the streamed videos. I tried different types.
Does anybody know a solution?

Can you add PDF support?

i wanted to shared all my pdf documents with a friend. It would be easier if they can be viewed directly.

I think you can use http://flexpaper.devaldi.com/ for that

Im using this right now to show friends my latest youtube video before editing is finished. It took a while to learn but damn it's fast and easy now!

In Opera 10.60.3433 I can't playback my local mp3 via this app, no proxy used, no contetn filter used. Also I can't see icons like app logo and play button.

P.S. Simillar application Media Player works great.

please update it to be 10.6 compatible

other issues to be fixed:

- ability to scroll to desired location without waiting to load first
- ability to take keyboard commands; space = play/pause
- full screen (only works when embedded)

Very Important Information here... JW Player for HTML5 (beta) Support for WebM. As you know Opera Labs has released a alpha that has webm vp8 suprort that we are now testing.

We are quite happy to say that our HTML5 player is fully compatible with the latest video format, WebM (see more on WebM below). Since the JW Player for HTML5 Video is standards-based, it will play any video format that the browsers support. Good thing for us that most of the major browsers are already building support for WebM. If you have downloaded the latest dev build of Firefox, Chrome or Opera, then you should be able to see WebM in action in this example:.

Please consider implementing this HTML 5 Webm version of the player in your stream_media application as quickly as possible . (like yesterday lol)
I have a HTML5 web site using OperaUnite running now.!! It would be so much easier to set up if all I had to do was copy a embed code from your Application. The Opera development team suggested I contact you here.
