Would anyone know why my computer (at home) keeps going offline when I log in remotely? It runs fine until I make a connection, at which point Opera Unite quits out
hello i am a happy user of opera as a browser but i down loaded the application of web server and since then i have had problems! please please disinstall this application or give me the information to dis install this application my site is www.catpayen.com or www.homemlmbusiness.info and I can not see my web site & in fact it is hosted by another server... I am new to this tecnical jargon so please forgive these wrong terms help me get this application off my site. thanking you in advance Catherine PAYEN
Is there any way to separate access to hosted files? E.g. I have 5 web sites that I want to share with 5 different peoples (each of them should have access to only 1 site). How can I make it with 1 instance of Web Server unite app installed and running?
It's very simple. You put your websites files in a folder on your computer. You start Opera, start Unite and start the webserver application, it gonna ask you where is your folder. That's all. Yes you can have several websites, for instance by installing several webserver application with different names.
Could someone just talk me through setting up a small website on this server facility, please? Do I just simply drag website files onto the server? Do I need FTP? etc
Also, can I load a number of different sites, all small, one page sites?
I would REALLY like to see an "auto re-logon" feature included in Unite. Every time my internet service "blinks" or something goes wrong out there in "internet land", Unite goes offline and gives the message that "The Unite proxy server is not reachable. This may be corrected by re-starting Unite". Why should I have to continuously restart Unite when my computer is running fine. Unite in my computer should keep trying every minute (or some user adjustable interval) until Unite's proxy server becomes "reachable" again. My webserver would then pick up where it left off without constant intervention on my part. An Auto Re-Logon would solve this problem. I wouldn't have to monitor my server constantly.
