Share files directly from your computer easily and safely.
The Opera Unite File Sharing service is simply the easiest way to share files from your computer. There is no need to worry about attaching loads of files to e-mails, or about single files being too large to send by e-mail. You don't have to sign up for third-party file sending applications, or set up an FTP service. All you need to do is send your friends the unique URL and they can instantly see your files. As we said. Simple.
Note: Please respect artists. Only share content if you have the right to do so.
To have multiple folders: Create one folder designated to opera file sharing on ur comp then simply paste folders that you want to share in your designated folder. once you open File Share all folders will be displayed independently
Very good downloading service but to pitch it as a collaboration solution is misleading, unless I'm missing something I only see a way to download files. I was hoping to use this with a coworker where they could edit a text file off of my machine or at least be able to download, edit then upload but Unite does not seem to solve that so in essence it's a one way arrow not two way.
Pretty useless, because you cannot admin your password for the file/web/photo-sharing (admin.home.yourname.operaunite.com sends me to home.yourname.operaunite.com) Opera 10.6.3

B. No, it doesn't work when your computer is shut down, just like real servers don't serve files when they're down.
