Opera Unite cant seem to maintain connection with its proxy server. this causes some unexpected behavious when viewing my unite site through another external browser. 1. Pages dont show that the unite service has stopped working. 2. When the services are restarted and back, the person veiwing the site doesnt see a refreshed upto date page, you can keep pressing refresh all you like but it shows a cached old version. you have to close your browser and restart it to see the up to date page, this applies to all services currently available. 3. Same with the Lounge, if user are connected before the service loses its connection, anyone viewing the lounge will still see everyone connected no matter how many times they press refresh in their browser, also, once the host has restarted the lounge service, old users are still shown as being connected until the host refreshes their lounge page, only then do these 'ghost' users dissappear.
It seems that unite needs a more robust connection system and needs a better sync/update system in place to maintain an accurate view of what is displayed to both the host and connected users.
If Unite 'knows' its lost connection then why is there no automatic reconnect in place? I run unite from my server so i have to keep manually RDP'ing into my server box from my main machine to check that its still running correctly. If there was an auto reconnection then i wouldnt have to keep babysitting it.....
Superb software let down by a few niggles, but it is beta and im here to report problems and help out
Best wishes
Leon Evans.

I'm getting 'Web server error: Unable to communicate with the proxy server. Network may be down."
All the time.
Is there a proxy server status page I can check? Would that work?
Sorry for setting this report to invalid. I do agree its a bug, and I have forwarded it for our Desktop Team, as the browser+proxy connection is their code. They do have an auto-reconnect option, but if the reconnect times out, it stays off. This is something they're already looking into, and will be fixed for the next release.
I cant make this service reconnect, so I'll have to close this here.
