Share your Opera bookmarks with friends everywhere.
The Bookmarks service allows you to share your Opera bookmarks with your friends. To set up the application, install it and follow these instructions:
Go to Help → About Opera and copy the path to a folder where your bookmarks are stored (e.g. C:/Users/%username%/AppData/Roaming/Opera/Opera/)
Open Unite Panel, right-click Bookmarks and select Properties…
Paste the path you copied into the input field
Voila!
Now your friends can access your bookmarks and even subscribe to the updates via Atom Feed so they would know about interesting web-sites you liked as soon as you bookmarked them in your browser.

hahaha, it says in the description, 0 issues!! So fanny!! How many of you are actually usung the latest opera update and this widget? Common don't lie,...none! You failed Maniulo, you failed... How about some widget maintenance?
I use the folder indicated in the "About Opera" & it doesn't show my Bookmarks. I tried using other folders that I have standard .URL shortcuts in & it doesn't recognize those either! I don't want people to see all of them, so I wanted to set it up to use a folder that I have designated just for this App, but I can't get it to recognize anything!
Hi, nice app but can you add some option to select an internal bookmarks folder so I can share only that I want? Or, better, can you add a way to have more operaunite sub address with relative password? Es: ------------------------------------------------------ anime [v] share [ ] local [ ] pass [ ] ------------------------------------------------------ private [ ] share [ ] local [ ] pass [ ] ------------------------------------------------------ project [v] share [ ] local [v] pass [goofy ] ------------------------------------------------------ family [v] share [v] local [] pass [ ] ------------------------------------------------------ so I can share: http://xyz.abc.operaunite.com/bookmarks/anime/ free http://xyz.abc.operaunite.com/bookmarks/project/ with password http://xyz.abc.operaunite.com/bookmarks/family/ in local
I made all the steps indicated at the top and it keeps saying me: "There is no bookmarks info in the shared folder. Please follow these instructions to make the application work."
Thanks for this Unite app. However, like pAULSG1, I've my bookmark list starting after a huuuuge vertical white space, forcing the user to scroll a lot before seeing the first bookmark. Any clue why? BTW I have tons of bookmarks, maybe that could be of interest. And oh, this seems to happens only on the root folder, once entered in a subfolder, bookmarks are properly displayed at the top of the page.
Won't work for me. Maybe because of the spaces in the path. In german Windows XP the full path is C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\%username%\Anwendungsdaten\Opera\Opera\
So I can't use this nice app. It's a pity. :-/
Edit: Have to correct myself, because I copied a copy of the bookmarks.adr file directly to the C:\ root folder and the app isn't still working. I also deactivated firewall, virusscanner and such things. I have no idea what the issue could be.
Nice one. Bugs: -Is it me or bookmarks section starts in middle of page? I have like 600+ bookmarks so there's 'a little' to scroll... Haven't happened in 1.0. Feature requests: -Sorting (by URI, name, domain) -Searching (URI, name, description)

I also vote for pAULSG1 suggestions
