An easy way to backup your files to another computer.
The Document Sync service allows you to automatically back up the contents of a specified directory to a remote computer running Document Courier.
NOTE: You must upgrade to Document Courier V2.1 for Document Sync to work properly.
Synchronization can be set to occur automatically every 5 minutes and can also be performed manually at any time by simply clicking the "Sync" button. Just specify the receiving Document Courier service URL and its respective password, as well as the Backup Folder Name which will identify the folder within the Document Courier shared directory where the files will be stored.
Can you make the Auto-Sync interval configurable? Large backups to other computers can take a lot of time and if a backup takes more than 5 minutes, the line gets very busy.
hmm looks ok, but was't much better to make a FTP-like app, or a Remote, or even possibilty to edit folders, to add more folders without installing of a new, same application. I know, that is easy o ask, and harder to do, but also is useless to involve hard work for something that will just be ...tryed.
I tryed 4 times with no succes... folders are made, but files stucks somehow
artiebob said :"The app monitors which files have been modified and will only update those to limit the amount of traffic required to move the files." that's true if i don't close anything. just a question: when i close then computer (or just the app or just when i made another task of backup), the next time i run it, the synchronization seems to be complete (with transfer of files) even if there is no change in files... is it true? you understand my problem if i have 1 Go of files to move every time...

This restriction only makes this application pretty useless.
