The Task Manager

by shwetankdixit

Manage your tasks easily. Use it as a normal task manager, a to-do list, or a shopping list.

The Task Manager lets you add tasks for you to keep track of. Hopefully this will add to your productivity.

You can use it as a task manager, a to-do list, or even a shopping list (for example, you making the list on home, and accessing the list through your mobile while shopping!). You can also sort by Priority, Task Name or Task Status.

Added password protection and better UI.

-Focus on the text entry field when adding task for fewer mouse clicks.
-Expand the text field. It's very small.
-Ability to enter a due date and reminder.
-Password protection.
-Add a category field and allow sorting or filtering by category.

Required featured to add:
1. Password protection
2. Ability to schedule task (attach task to date)
3. Auto notifier (pop-up before due time)

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm glad you're liking it so far.

@ Elyon: Yeah, that was the idea I had when i thought of making this. That you make a list, and then could access that list everywhere, even on your mobile phone.

I guess many of you all want password protection, so I'll be adding that in the next version.

Password protection is a must!

I have tested the app, and it works fine.
But there is one major feature missing: password protection!
I don't want the whole world to know what my next tasks are, especially since parts of it are work related.

So: great idea, and I'd love to use it!
But I need password protection first.

This is really an interesting idea. I'm giving it a try by bookmarking the page and showing it as a panel (small screen enabled). This seems like a quick way of synchronizing to-do items across multiple computers, or even a mobile phone.

Great. Multiple stylesheets (even using Opera skin parts, like UJS Manager does) would be nice.

I did not try the application yet but if this also functions only through a link to the task manager, no link is really needed as it is only you who has the link.

Nice app though... with a bit of polish, this will rock!

Good start, but it's still far from done.

Great idea, recently i wrote all my to-do stuff onto a paper. Make the list more interactive and easier overview-able and this surely going to be an app I will constantly use - woah I'm still buzzed by all the new stuff <3

Great app [2]
waiting for some updates

By otwen, # Oct 14, 2009 7:55:05 PM

I was waiting for this! Thank you.
I have some wishes though. Add deadline option. I mean date to which that task must be done.
And synchronization with the dotoo widget would be nice  (now I am freaking out, am I? For the start, just get inspired by that widget  )
