I'm sorry but my .mp4 files does not play. The image is black. My mp4 files were recorded on NOKIA N70 and N95.

WMV does not want to play at all.
MPG needs plugin.

I thought that I can play any media file in flash player :o:

After update to 2.1.
Can't play .wmv in subfolder, but .flv, .mp4, .mp3 and .mpg is OK.
It seems something is wrong with silverlight.

there is no fullscreen unless video is embeded.. with a large database of movies there is a lot of work to get everything runing, but nevertheless, my gift to all opera fans http://metalkino.tk/ <- select a movie, see, if there is a link to it at the bottom and enjoy.. example:

dazed and confuzed: http://www.frogstomp.operaunite.com/metalkino/content/dazedandconfuzed.html

but i have one request:

it would be nice if the next track would be played automatically after the last one has ended.

like in the mediaplayer from operaunite
that would be so great!!!

pls make a button or something where i can turn this function on/off

Hi Daniel!

I can add feature to hide files, that Stream media won't play (files with download icon). If you mean that...

How do you set it up to stream ONLY over a LAN? Is that possible? Even trying it on Firefox on the same computer makes it always stream over the Internet.

By ClarusVisum, # Dec 11, 2009 4:45:30 PM

Plz update to new version 2.1. There are new possibilities:
- Ogg player - beta in Flash
- WMA/WMV player built in Silverlight
- Ability to set own password
- Unicode support in flv/mp3/wma/wmv players
- Bug fixes

By avenu, # Dec 11, 2009 3:20:04 PM

works great with .flv. but I can't use fullscreen view. is there a way to embed videos on other sites (from developers point of view)? also a subtitle support would be great (on/off like on youtube)

By frogstomp, # Dec 10, 2009 1:27:58 AM

I recommend to use JW player or Flash player to stream video's. Windows Media Player Doesn't stream or support full length Video's most of the time.

By rain2reign, # Dec 9, 2009 5:43:27 PM

Situation with AVI is that it is not suitable for streaming. That is why WinMedia tries to download file before playing, other players still can stream but with some losses. But it is hard to embed them to browser.

Silverlight and Flash don't support AVI. So at this moment the best decision is to convert AVI to FLV or WMV (support will be in next version).

can't watch Avi files(

By Arsik19, # Dec 8, 2009 10:11:16 AM

I can't get avi files to stream. Could you please change the player to a flash player or something? Anything but windows media player. Tried playing some avi files in IE8, but it kept crashing the browser. Otherwise, good job. The interface looks a lot better now.

Password change will be in next minor version. Password is unique for each application, so you shouldn't worry that someone will have access before next update.

Very sad we didn't get prize at this week :frown: I hope, that next update will change this situation

Next version will also support MP4 in Flash, WMA, WMV in Silverlight. Check for updates.
