Fridge

by OperaUnite

Enjoy fun notes left on your computer by friends.

Friends and family will love leaving notes on your fridge. It's open to all and you get a notification when someone writes a note.

- Mom posts a note, "Dentist appointment at 2:30 - Don't forget!"
- Your roommate writes, "We need milk!" and you use the fridge as your shopping list with Opera Mini while in the store
- Your niece says, "I miss you! Come visit us soon!"

As the service owner, you can delete notes, turn off posting, limit the total number of notes so that it doesn't get too full, or disable and enable this service whenever you want. Other people can also delete their own posts.

yessuz, opera and new versions of Firefox support -face! Older browser does not, which is the reason of the difference. It is not Opera's fault.

It stopped working after I renamed my computer. My fridge names is now fridge_2 and messages are invisible.
Please change the font, the current is a waisting of space and unreadable.

I have empty add note and empty notes. Everything because of css:
font-family: "DemonstroHand";

I've just upgraded Opera on Windows XP, Is this something with missing fonts?

Edit: After system restart Fridge start working normally.

I like the moving notes idea. the date seems to be wrong on my notes. it says May 17th, 2009 instead of june

By lifeofbryan, # Jun 16, 2009 4:45:42 PM

i have had problems to see notes (showed empty) but i have delete cookies, cache etc with ccleaner and now Fridge works fine.

By movax, # Jun 16, 2009 4:42:04 PM

I think this service to be wonderful service.

However, I hope for an increase in the number of characters that can be input to this service. It is about 140 characters like a Twitter.

Just noted, that after some time, the Notes on the Fridge is showed Empty. While Internet Explorer or FF shows this page (frige) with the standard fonts and with the text inside.
Probably opera's fault (as the browser?)

By yessuz, # Jun 16, 2009 1:55:13 PM

great idea. The only problem is to convince as many people as possible to think so and 'make' them use these services

By Bizon_PL, # Jun 16, 2009 12:48:22 PM

need option to change font, current one does not support Cyrillic (and probably other language specific symbols too)

By SergeySch, # Jun 16, 2009 10:13:18 AM

By marjancek, # Jun 16, 2009 9:41:13 AM
